   3. Book Group
      1. Thursday Aug 8th book A Memory Called Empire (Teixcalaan, #1) by Arkady Martine is at Panera on Edgewood Rd in Cedar Rapids at 6pm.
      2. Thursday Sept 12th will be a general discussion covering the books that we have read and those we would like to read.

8. New Business
   1. Concerns about AnimeIowa that were brought up at the AI Mindbridge Meeting. A followup meeting will be held with Mindbridge Board and AI leadership to address. Tentatively scheduled for Aug 17th.
   2. Lib Con 4 – at Iowa City Public Library on Saturday, August 10, 10am-4pm.
      1. Doug will represent Mindbridge.
      2. Alex will be there to represent the Star Trek Museum and Mindbridge.
   3. 5th Street Social – 5th Street, between 6th Avenue & 12th Avenue, Coralville, IA Saturday, August 10, 4-10pm.
      1. Gamicon hosting the adult gaming area.
   4. Alex indicated interest in following up with Bonnie Gordon about possibly attending Mindbridge conventions.

   Next meeting will be Wed Sept 11th @ 7pm online and in person at the Penticoff house 6914 Amhurst Dr Cedar Rapids, IA
