Mindbridge Meeting Minutes Dec 7th , 2022

  3. Treasurer’s Report (Jon): Down $18,110
  4. IT Officer (Tony)
    1. Password management up and running. Need to meet with IT officers for other conventions
    2. Didn’t get Discord for the Mindbridge server set up.
  5. Storage Manager (Pat)
    1. Nov. 20th went through the storage locker.
      1. Retired some cooking items from Consuite/Recharge room
      2. Will post the pictures of items on the 15th Dec on the Discord server
    2. Some totes in the AI locker that are unlabeled and unclaimed.
  6. Convention Reports
    1. Gamicon (Next Gamicon Feb 24-26, 2023)
      1. Next meeting Dec 18th 6pm on Discord
      2. Getting events scheduled
      3. No masks required: Exceptions at the game runner’s discretion
    2. AnimeIowa (July 28-30, 2023)
      1. Sat Dec 10th Time 2pm online and at the Hyatt
      2. Lots of open roles that still need to be filled
      3. 200 Regs from the Black Friday Sale
    3. ICON (Oct 14-16, 2022)
      1. Post mortem in Sat Dec 10th Time 4pm on Zoom and at the Hyatt
      2. Reg will be having Post Holiday Sale $45 Dec 26th-31st
  7. Other Projects
    1. Game Library (Michele): Woot.com had origami shelves on sale 6 were bought
    2. Video Game Library (Adam)
      1. Researching options on an Arcade Cabinet
      2. Looking in to raising money options
    3. Book Group: Dec 12th Time:6pm Red Mars by Kim Stanley Robinson – Online, please talk to Cath or Michele for link if needed
  8. Old Business
    1. Mindbridge Discord for meetings: Tony is still working on setting up
    2. If there are any problems or questions address them to Jenny C. from now until Jan 4th meeting
    3. Review and discuss the Mindbridge Harassment Policy
  9. New Business
    1. Lyz, Tony, and Amanda will be getting together in mid to late January to discuss revisions to the membership database
    2. Adam’s proposal for raising money for the video game library
      1. Sponsorship tiers $20, $50, $100
      2. People will receive thank you gifts and recognition at events.
      3. Will be setting up taking donations through TableTop.events
      4. The Board approved the proposal
