Mindbridge Meeting Minutes August 3rd, 2022

    1. ICON (Oct 14-16, 2022)
      1. Next meeting August 13 10am in person and online Coralville library
      2. New ICON Website is in User Acceptance Testing.
      3. Promo material for ICON is at the Penticoff’s
      4. We are looking for Panel Volunteers
    2. Gamicon (Next Gamicon Feb 24-26, 2023)
      1. Next meeting Aug 28 6pm online
      2. Have filled advertising and security positions. Still looking for volunteer coordinator and guest relations.
    3. AnimeIowa (July 28-30, 2023)
      1. Post Mortem meeting Sept 24 at the Hyatt and virtual
      2. Convention went well
  7. Other Projects
    1. Game Library (Michele)
      1. At AI, 80 checkouts on Friday, 91 on Saturday, 13 on Sunday, 184 in total.
      2. 63 unique games. Most checked out were Battlesheep, Uno, Jenga, and Apples to Apples.
      3. Purchased “My Hero Academia” game for the library.
      4. Inventory to be scheduled for late September.

      1. Two games are missing. Two games left behind.
    3. Book Group: August 15th @ 6:00 pm – 7:00 pm, Lovecraft Country by Matt Ruff. Online, please talk to Cath or Michele for link if needed
