  3. Treasurer’s Report (Jon) – Down about 1.3k from last month
  4. IT Officer (Adam)
    1. Nothing major to report
    2. Want to see if Mindbridge can cover the antivirus software for 2022-2023

  5. Storage Manager (Pat) – thinks it still exists.
  6. Convention Reports
    1. Gamicon (Feb 25-27, 2022)
      1. Moving right along, have 49 sponsors so far
      2. Not doing an auction this year, essentially doing a garage sale type event
      3. 214 people pre-registered so far
      4. Events still coming in
      5. Next meeting Sunday Jan 16, 6 pm on Discord
    2. AnimeIowa (July 22-24, 2022)
      1. Have budget sorted out to teams
      2. Submitting guests to exec for approval
      3. Next meeting 2 pm on Sat Jan 15th
    3. ICON (Oct 14-16, 2022)
      1. ConCom will be meeting with Robin to discuss budget and direction 7pm Friday
      2. Next staff meeting will be January 15th 2022 at 10 AM
  7. Other Projects
    1. Book Group – Monday Jan 17, 2022, 6 pm, Half a Soul by Olivia Atwater
    2. Game Library (Michele) – Doing game demo this Saturday at Hobby Corner from 1-5 Terraforming Mars Ares expedition; Tuesday Jan 18 5:30-8pm Geek City; more infiormation is on the Mindbridge Game Library Facebook page.
    3. Video Game Library (Adam) – still working on getting VGL assets from Alex’s family who has set aside the assets for Adam to pick up.
  8. Old Business
    1. Adam is interested in being VGL chair; moved to approve; approved.
    2. Looking for a new membership manager to manage Mindbridge points.
    3. Looking for a new secretary to replace John Johnson who will work with them to gracefully transition. Jessica and Lyz may be interested in learning about the roles.
    4. Robin suggested the AnimeIowa mailbox be merged into the MB/ICON/Gamicon mailbox to save $120+ a year, Lyz will bring up to the AI Exec committee meeting in December. AI box is now closed. Anything that might have come to AI PO box 110 should now go to box 300 – art show, purchases, website. Etc.
    5. Looking for additional member for Video Game Library
    6. Animeiowa vs Anime Iowa trademark – Adam will check with copyright lawyer and give us an update at the January meeting; Adam waiting for reply from lawyer.
  9. New Business
    1. The Mill where SFLIS (Science Fiction League of Iowa Students), predecessor to Mindbridge met for years will be torn down.
