      2. Last meeting, we sent these documents to Mindbridge to review. We have received no feedback, so the Manifesto should be up to vote at this Mindbridge meeting. If people have feedback or suggestions for the other policies, we are always happy to receive it.

      3. Japanese-imported games and support: We are looking at trialling having Japanese-imported games for certain retro consoles (NES, SNES, and N64) at AnimeIowa. Some modifications may be made to the consoles to support this, or adapters provided to allow attendees to experience these unique games.
      4. Artist Wanted: The VGL is looking for artist(s) who can help create some graphics for the Video Game Library. It is our preference that the artists be someone close to Mindbridge and/or an attendee or vendor at our events. If anyone has any leads, please direct them to info@videogamelibrary.org. We are willing to pay the artist for their work. Current work would be for informational graphics/signage, but art for badge ribbons or pins could be requested in the future.
      5. Addition of another 18-gallon tub for the storage locker: To help with at-con organization, the Video Game Library plans to acquire another 18-gallon tub to help with the storage and organization of controller racks which have been donated to the VGL, as well as signage and other supplies. The tub will be donated by Adam Brower, unless there is an empty tub in the storage locker that the VGL is allowed to claim.
      6. Console Updates: Progress
        1. In preparation for AnimeIowa, Adam has started doing a phased roll-out of the library. The plan is before the next AnimeIowa meeting (July 11) to have the PS5, SteamDeck, and three PS4 consoles updated. They will then be dropped off at the locker during the July 11th pre-AI locker inventory. Currently, the PS5 is 100% updated, and the SteamDeck is 95% updated (waiting on some game updates that will release early next week). The PS4 updates are scheduled to start this weekend.
        2. After the July 11th AnimeIowa meeting, the 4 Nintendo Switch and the 4 Nintendo Switch 2 consoles will receive their updates closer to the end of con so that last minute games (namely Splatoon Raiders) can be added to the consoles.
      7. Social Media Liaison: Due to concerns raised by members of AnimeIowa Staff, the Video Game Library is looking for a social media liaison to do direct interactions with the AnimeIowa community on behalf of the Video Game Library. Content will be provided, and right now is more akin to bringing awareness of upcoming features / changes to the library like the Japanese games that will be available at the con, or getting feedback on things they liked or would like to see changed about the video game room after the con.
      8. Video Game Library IT Holdings Audit Requested
        1. After AnimeIowa, the Video Game Library wishes to coordinate with the Mindbridge IT Officer to do a thorough audit of our digital assets (namely digital accounts, and password databases), as well as ensuring that the Mindbridge IT Officer or a designated secondary key holder has a working copy of our digital asset databases.
        2. As part of the console updates, most (if not all) of these will be audited internally by the Video Game Library, but after the con we would appreciate a double check to ensure that everything is in working order.
