Mindbridge Meeting Minutes for April 5th, 2017, 7 pm at ARC of Southeast Iowa

  2. Minutes Posted online, approved.
  3. Treasurer’s Report — we have money.
  4. Convention Reports
    1. AnimeIowa
      1. Next staff meeting Saturday April 8, storage locker run at 8:30 AM
      2. KCRG – AI is trading advertising for AI memberships, Alyssa set up.
      3. AI plans to be in the Des Moines Fourth of July Parade.
    2. ICON
      1. Next staff meeting Saturday April 15 at 1:30 PM, Coralville Public Library.
      2. Need a 2018 concom!
    3. Gamicon
      1. Next staff meeting April 30, 6 PM at North Liberty Pizza Ranch.
      2. May be a Caatan qualifier.
      3. Need staff.
      4. Theme is Viking.
  5. Other Projects
    1. Game Library – Friday, March 31st, 5-8 pm The Hobby Corner, Iowa City, The Game of 49.
    2. Book Group: Monday, April 24th, 6 pm, Scooter’s Coffee, Od Magic by Patricia A. McKillip.
    3. Video Game Library (Adam and Alex): Doing inventory, building wish list.
  6. Old Business
    1. Mindbridge Ban Policy and attachment: tabled until next meeting.
    2. Inventory Checkout Policy: Moved to approve, seconded, passed.
    3. Shelving donate by Victoria if wanted? Yes, Steve Tait will pick up.
  7. New Business
    1. Non Profit Management Academy 2017
      1. Moved for Mindbridge to pay up to $1,000 for this.
      2. Moved, seconded and passed.
      3. Jon will make arrangements.
    2. Annual Meeting (when and where and who is ordering food)
      1. Saturday May 13th, at Coralville Public Library Meeting Room A, starting at 11:30 AM.
      2. Victoria will wrangle food, she wants to know what people want, especially any special requirements.
    3. Dave Trieweiler asked to be a Mindbridge Member, approved.
