Mindbridge Board Meeting Sept. 4, 2013

  1. Call to Order
  2. Old Business
    1. Data Meeting: It has not happen at this time yet.
    2. Membership Cards: Michelle Weinard McKibben is currently working on these.
    3. Grievance
    4. Lap top Discussion has been delayed as well as the data meeting.
  3. New Business
    1. ICON 2014
      1. There currently is a bid for ICON 2014.
      2. Con-Com is Jori Hendon Dalton Wheeler, and Eleanor Ray John Johnson.
        1. Updated 09/27/2013: Eleanor Ray has stepped down and John Johnson joined the con-com in her place.
    2. Mindbridge Harassment Policy: Michele Maakestad has created a harassment policy for Mindbridge based upon the State of Iowa’s Harassment Policy.
    3. Mindbridge Meetings:
      1. We have decided that Board Meetings will always be at 6 pm and the general meeting will now be 7 pm.
      2. This is to stop having confusion with our meeting times.
    4. Taxes have been filed for Mindbridge Foundation.
    5. Mindbridge Board Minutes will now be posted.
    6. Cultural Corridor: Mindbridge is looking at promoting through Cultural Corridor website at this time.
    7. Frisbee Disc Tournament
      1. Mindbridge Foundation was asked if we wanted to participate in advertising at the tournament.
      2. It is $25/hole. We have decided that this would be a good idea and thus voted to participate.
