Minutes for April 3rd Mindbridge Meeting

  1. Call to Order
  2. Minutes from the March Meeting were not read, but were posted on the Mindbridge website.
  3. Highlights from the Treasurer’s Report were read.
    1. There will be a meeting for all project treasurers at the Hills Bank in North Liberty on Zeller (map) April 6th at 9:00 AM.
  4. Gamicon
    1. 335 Paid Attendees
    2. Made over $2000!
  5. AnimeIowa
    1. Next meeting — April 13th 2:00 pm at the Coralville Marriot.
    2. Over 1500 preregistrations so far!
  6. ICON
    1. Meeting April 13th at the Denny lynch home.
  7. Other Projects
    1. Game Library — no report.
    2. Book Group — April 22nd at Coffee Smiths in Cedar Rapids at 6 pm. They will be discussing Shaman’s Crossing by Robin Hobb.
    3. Film Group — April 26th at the Stump home at 6:30 pm. They will be viewing Kirikou and the Sorceress.
  8. Old Business
    1. Purchase of iPad for use in registration approved.
    2. Update on Mindbridge Reads, Mark McKibben is winning with 44 out of 147 books read.
    3. Treasury Meeting on April 6th at Hills Bank, North Liberty (that one on Zeller).
  9. New Business
    1. None at this time.
  10. Adjournment

Next Mindbridge meeting: May 1st at 7 pm at the Denny Lynch home.
