Minutes for March 6th Mindbridge Meeting

  1. Call to Order
  2. Minutes from the February Meeting were not read, but were posted on the Mindbridge website.
  3. Highlights from the Treasurer’s Report were read.
    1. There will be a meeting for all project treasurers at the Hills Bank in North Liberty on Zeller (map) April 6th at 9:00 AM.
  4. Gamicon
    1. Begins Friday, March 8th at noon. Events begin at 1:00 PM.
    2. Mindbridge Meeting at Gamicon Sunday at 1:00 PM.
  5. AnimeIowa
    1. Next meeting —March 9th 2:00 pm at the Coralville Marriot.
  6. ICON
    1. Staffing continues. Many positions still open!
  7. Other Projects
    1. Game Library — at Gamicon this weekend.
    2. Book Group — March 25th at Coffee Smiths in Cedar Rapids at 6 pm. They will be discussing Fair Coin by E.C. Myers.
    3. Film Group —March 22nd at the Denny Lynch home at 6:30 pm. They will be viewing King Kong (1933) with commentary.
  8. Old Business
    1. Social Event — Mindbridge Gaming Night in April. Date and time TBA.
    2. Gamicon Con Comm Vote — Approved.
  9. New Business
    1. Purchase of two small refrigerators okayed for use at ICON and AnimeIowa, $140 each.
    2. We now have a Mindbridge Square account to take credit card payments at conventions.
    3. Purchase of Badge Holders okayed for ICON, Mindbridge, and Gamicon.
  10. Adjournment
