Minutes for January 4th Mindbridge Meeting

1. Call to Order
2. Minutes from the December Meeting were not read, but are posted on the Mindbridge list and web site.
3. Highlights from the Treasurer’s Report were read.
4. Gamicon
   1. Pre-registration ends January 20th. Gamicon dates Feb 10-12th.
   2. New Dealers are signing up.
   3. Lots of games and a Magic Tournament.
5. AnimeIowa
   1. Next meeting January 21st at 2:00 pm and the Coralville Marriot.
6. ICON
   1. Discussion of an appropriate Rusty memorial.
7. Other Projects
   1. Game Library — Lots of new games! It will be present at Gamican.
   2. Book Group — January 16th at Coffee Talk Café at 6 pm. They will be discussing Blond Bombshell by Tom Holt.
   3. Film Group — January 13th at Mark and Michelle’s home at 6:30 . They will be viewing Mr. Vampire.
8. Old Business
   1. Visioning Retreat Report — The board discussed the need for Mindbridge to grow in more social directions. We will start with Sci-Fi Buzztime Trivia at Old Chicago Pizza in Coralville February 1st at 6:00 pm. Munchies will be provided.
9. New Business
   1. Discussion of an appropriate Rusty memorial.
