Minutes for December 7th Mindbridge Meeting

  1. Call to Order
  2. Minutes from October Meeting were not read, but are posted on the Mindbridge list and web site.
  3. Highlights from the Treasurer’s Report were read.
  4. Gamicon
    1. Registration in now online.
    2. People are signing up.
    3. GM Party at Critical Hits Games in Iowa City Saturday, December 17th at 12:00 pm.
  5. AnimeIowa
    1. Next meeting January 21st at 2:00 pm and the Coralville Marriot.
  6. ICON
    1. Mostly complete for now. Nothing to report at this time.
  7. Other Projects
    1. Game Library — 40 new games! Better selection! Many requested games! Now in 5 tubs!
    2. Book Group — December 19th at Coffee Talk Café at 6 pm. They will be discussing Mists of Avalon by Marion Zimmer Bradley.
    3. Film Group — December 9th at Bryon and Cath’s home at 6:30 pm. They will be viewing Alien Nation.
  8. Old Business
    1. Visioning Retreat Report — The board discussed the need for Mindbridge to grow in more social directions. We will be actively working on improving our social venues. Much brain-storming at this time.
  9. New Business
    1. Considering having individual mailboxes for each of the Mindbridge convention projects.
