Minutes for December 1st Mindbridge Meeting

  1. Call to Order
  2. Minutes from November Meeting were not read, but are posted on the Mindbridge list and web site.
  3. Treasurer’s Report was not read.
  4. Icon Report
    1. ICON went really well.
    2. Made just under $10,000 profit.
  5. Gamicon Report
    1. Guests of Honor will not be Budcats, Video Game Designers. This company has been dissolved.
    2. Date February 11th — 13th
    3. Games being prepped. A new flyer and postcard mailing coming out soon.
    4. Next meeting December 12th, 7:30 pm at the Maakestad home.
  6. Anime Iowa Report
    1. No report at this time.
  7. Other Projects
    1. Game Library — Many new games. Four tubs now!
    2. Book Group — Film Group combined meeting to discuss Terry Pratchet’s Disc World Death Series (Mort, Reaper Man, Soul Music, Hogfather & Thief of Time) and to watch the Sky One production of Hogfather. December 11th at Bryon and Cath’s home starting at 6:00 pm.
  8. Old Business
    1. Denny Lynch was re-elected to the Mindbridge Board of Directors.
  9. New Business
    1. Voted to appropriate $500 for the purchase of a new step ladder and 18 new totes for the storage locker.
    2. Accepting proposals for Mindbridge’s charitable projects
    3. Gamicon 21 Bid was proposed.
