Minutes for March 3rd Mindbridge Meeting

  2. Minutes from February Meeting were not read, but have been posted on the Mindbridge list and web site.
  3. Treasurer’s Report has been posted on Google Documents.
  4. Gamicon Report
    1. Went great, made money
    2. New location went over big!
    3. $375 to Camp Courageous
  5. AnimeIowa Report
    1. Staff Meeting Saturday March 20th at 2:00 PM at the Coralville Convention Center.
    2. Staff Recruitment Meeting
  6. Icon Report
    1. New Website soon! More guests to be announced.
  7. Other Projects
    1. Preplanning Committee — nothing to report.
    2. Game Library — Demo nights at Hobby Corner in Iowa City
    3. Book Group – Book Group will be meeting at 6:00 pm on March 29th at Coffee Talk Café. They will be discussing The Time Traveler’s Wife by Audrey Niffenegger.
    4. Film Group will be meeting at 7:00 pm on March 26th at the McKibben’s home. They will be discussing Metropolis and The Day the Earth Stood Still.
  8. Old Business
    1. Gamicon Upsilon bid voted on and passed. Date — February 11th through 13th.
  9. New Business
    1. Annual Membership meeting will be May 22nd in a picnic, cook-out format at a time and place yet to be determined.
