    1. Some members have been reduce to inactive status, due to their lack of attendance of the monthly meetings.
  4. Treasurer’s Report
    1. Report not available at this time.
  5. AnimeIowa Report
    1. Still happening
    2. Meeting at Marriot today @ 2PM
    3. 1769 pre-registrations
    4. Comp Badges
      1. Some people say there are no comp badges
      2. Others say there can be comp badges
    5. AnimeIowa will have a shuttle bus to between hotels
    6. AnimeIowa is trying to work with [REDACTED] on getting [REDACTED].
  6. ICON Report
    1. Con still happening
    2. Hotel (Cedar Rapids Marriott) walkthru next week
  7. Gamicon Report
    1. Wants permission to pay for 3 years of hotel space at the University
      1. Cost is approximately 1/3 of normal
      2. Josh Elliot agrees to run Gamicon for all 3 years
  8. Pre-Planning Committee
    1. AnimeIowa working on contract for 2010 & 2011
      1. 2010 dates: July 30 – August 1
      2. 2011 dates: July 29 – 31
  9. Old Business
    1. Bid for AnimeIowa 2010
      1. Available on the Mindbridge Board email list
      2. con-com: Liz edwards, Pat ?, Laurie ? anbd possibly Sam Abba
      3. Projected Budget: ~$110K
        1. Guest budget has been increased to allow for possible Japanese guest.
      4. Suggestions came up that AnimeIowa should start advertizing more (or at least start planning to)
      5. Vote on bid at next meeting
    2. Storage locker
      1. We’ll start paying 3 month at a time, but not auto paying.
      2. Still talking about getting a different space.
    3. Art Show/Copyright Policy
      1. We’re going with the new policy
      2. Boils down to artist must sign documentation saying they are solely responsible for copyright problems.
    4. Saturday meetings?
      1. We had one person who wouldn’t have been here if it was on Wednesday.
  10. New Business
    1. Annual super-con meeting at ICON on October 24
    2. Mindbridge table @ AnimeIowa was not sufficiently staffed last year, AnimeIowa requested we do something about it this year.
      1. Decided to “kill” the Mindbridge table and just put flyers at registration.
    3. Josh Elliot will run the Mindbridge meeting at AnimeIowa.
  11. Announcements
    1. Annual super-con meeting at ICON on October 24
    2. Super committees: it was voted that the Board of Directors is still on the super committe.
    3. Book Group: July 20 @ 6PM, Coffee Talk Cafe, they will discussing Devices and Desires by K.J. Parker
    4. Film Group: July 31 in Blairstown for Brazil & The Man Who Could Work Miracles
