MB Annual Meeting Minutes June 3, 2018 at 11 AM, Days Inn

  4. Convention Report
    1. AnimeIowa – had meeting in Des Moines yesterday
      1. Robin showed some nice swag that will be for sale at AI
    2. ICON
      1. Next meeting Saturday June 9, 1:30 PM, ST Morris Park (if rain in Coralville Public Library), Pot Luck
      2. Everything is going good
      3. Will be making request at next MB meeting for reusable con suite stuff
    3. Gamicon
      1. Next meeting Sunday, June 10, 6 PM, North Liberty Pizza Ranch
      2. Have a special GOH lined up!
  5. Other Projects
    1. Game Library – Castle Panic and Munchkin Panic, Thursday June 7, 5PM, The Hobby Corner, Iowa City
    2. Annual Inventory, Saturday June 23, 10am-8pm, City Park Shelter, Iowa City. They need help with the inventory. Free food and drink will be provided!
    3. Book Group – Monday June 11, 6 PM, Scooter’s Coffee, Chronicles of Amber, Vol 1 – 5 by Roger Zelazny.
  6. Old Business
    1. Parade at TrekFest, 10 AM, Saturday June 30th, Riverside Iowa. Contact Jenny Carhoff for more details, she is making her trailer available
    2. Parade at Coralville 4th of July Fest, Wednesday, July 4, 10 AM. Contact Jenny Carhoff for more details
    3. Moved to spend $99.00 for candy and decorations for the parades. Seconded and Passed
  7. New Business
    1. New logo discussion: Michele proposed a new logo for Mindbridge that will be cleaner. Discussed, suggestions made, tabled to Wednesday meeting.
    2. Katie Heckel board member term is up for re-election, she was re-elected to the three year term ending May 2021.
