The Mindbridge Book Discussion Group met on September 15th at the Coffee Talk Cafe in Cedar Rapids to discuss “Valor’s Choice” by ICON‘s Author Guest of Honor for 2008, Tanya Huff. Our regular note-taker had one wing in a sling, but still managed to get the highlights of the discussion posted over at Writer Tamago. If you’ve read Valor’s Choice but didn’t have a chance to make the Book Group’s discussion, we are working with ICON to arrange a Q&A session with Tanya Huff to discuss “Valor’s Choice”.
REMINDER: Cath has arranged for next month’s author, Mark Henry to answer any questions we come up with by reading Happy Hour of the Damned. In order for this to work, you’ll need to submit your questions by October 10th!
The Mindbridge Book Discussion Group met on August 11th at the Coffee Talk Cafe in Cedar Rapids to discuss Joe Haldeman’s “The Accidental Time Machine“. As usual Cath kept notes and posted them to Writer Tamago, interested in what people thought? Go give her notes read!
