Note: Only journeyman level writers are invited to participate in Paradise Icon.
A journeyman writer is an alumnus/alumna of one of the following workshops: Clarion, Odyssey, the Center for Science Fiction and Fantasy workshops, Orson Scott Card’s Bootcamp, Viable Paradise, or a similar writing workshop; or has published at least one work in a SFWA-approved professional venue. Writers are also welcome to submit their work, and if the writer is producing work at an appropriate level, he/she may be invited to join the workshop. Participation in a previous Paradise Icon is also an indicator of journeyman status.

The workshop will be capped at 10 participants.
