Icon is Iowa’s oldest science fiction convention, having been around for 44 years. In part founded by students from Joe Haldeman’s writing workshop at the University of Iowa, Icon has a rich writing tradition.
Each year Icon is attended by a notable writing guest. This year, we are proud to have the following author guests: Our toastmaster Jim C. Hines, and Pat Murphy.
