Mindbridge Art Show Policy

Version 1.0, Approved 04/2009

In the interests of protecting intellectual property rights, Mindbridge will make a good faith effort to ensure that copyrighted material will not be sold without the permission of the copyright holders. Mindbridge will request and require all individuals participating in sales through Mindbridge to sign a waiver acknowledging that they are responsible for ensuring that their items comply with copyright and trademark laws. Additionally, such agents will be required to sign a statement accepting full responsibility for ensuring that they have the legal right to sell those items and to waive and hold harmless Mindbridge Foundation, its subsidiaries and projects, from any recourse that selling those items may provoke.

Mindbridge Copyright Waiver

All my saleable items do not violate current copyright or trademark law, and I have provided written corroboration for items that contain copyrighted material not of my own. Items that are not saleable are clearly marked “Not for sale” or “For display only”. I understand that Mindbridge may take action against individuals it deems are in violation of this policy, including, but not limited to marking items as ineligible for sale or removing them from display. In the event legal action is sought by a copyright holder, I release and hold harmless Mindbridge Foundation, its subsidiaries and projects, of any liability, furthermore I will assume the responsibility of any suit directed at Mindbridge or the convention stemming from a copyright violation.

I have read this release and hold harmless agreement and understand the terms used in it and their legal significance. This waiver and release is freely and voluntarily given with the understanding that right to legal recourse against the Mindbridge Foundation, its subsidiaries and projects, is knowingly given up. My signature on this document is intended to bind not only myself but also my successors, heirs, representatives, administrators, and assigns.
