The purpose of the Game Library is to create a resource of games and game information for Mindbridge members. This library resource is currently made available at each of Mindbridge Foundation's three major projects: ICON Science Fiction Convention, AnimeIowa and Gamicon Game Fair. The Game Library committee meets approximately one time a month for a 1/2 hour business meeting, and a game library playtest and review.
If you would like to be a part of this committee, assist with implementation of a newsletter or work with game companies to acquire donations for the library, please contact us for more information.

Check Out
To borrow a game from the library, request the game you would like to use at the Library desk at the event which you are attending. The attendant will find the game, and the Checkout card. Together you will review the game for any missing pieces or defects. You will provide some item of value (ID, keys, etc.) as collateral, which the attendant will keep until you return the game. You will be asked for a time that you intend to return the game. Please be considerate and return the game in a timely manner so that others may also use it. Games are due before the end of the day they are checked out. When you return the game, the attendant will review the game again with you for missing pieces or damage, and if the game is in satisfactory condition, we will return your collateral item. Games returned in unsatisfactory condition may be subject to fines or replacement fees, as determined by the attendant.
Donations
At this point, the Game Library is accepting only "Pick-up-and-play" games in good condition. We are not currently accepting RPG rule books, Collectible card collections, or video/computer games. (Some exceptions apply, please contact us if you have questions.)
Below is a list of some of the games that we would like to add to the Game Library. Please contact us if you have one of these games to donate, or if you have a game to donate that you feel would be an asset to the Library.
