Responsible for on-site security.
If needed, sets up badging stations and works with volunteer coordinator to make sure they are staffed.
Coordinates with hotel security to make sure rooms are locked and secure and that all attendees are out of the spaces when closed.
Responsible for staffing overnight security to monitor all convention spaces and manage any security problems.
May have to coordinate with local law enforcement if situations develop.
Needs to keep security logbook of incidents before, during and after convention.
Communicate to concom of any serious incidents during the convention and share logbook with concom afterwards.
