Programming - Regular events
Mostly from the current ICON Manifesto:
ICON schedules one or more tracks of programming relating to the science fiction and fantasy genres. The following programming items and events are the minimum that must take place at every ICON and common times for them:
Opening ceremonies 7 PM Friday
Art show - Fri 3-6 PM, Sat 9 AM - 5 PM, Sun 10 AM - Noon
Art Auction - Sat 6 PM
Vendor area - Fri 4-7 PM, Sat 10 AM - 6 PM, Sun 10 AM - 2 PM
Guest of Honor speeches - Sat 4 PM
Masquerade Sat 8 PM
Mindbridge membership meeting Sun Noon, closed
MB Supercommittee Meeting Sun 11 AM
Hospitality suite Fri 9 PM - 2 AM, Sat 8 AM - 2 AM, Sun 8 AM - 2 PM
A suitable number of panel discussions, readings, or presentations to satisfy the needs and obligations of professional attendees
ICON should contain more items than the minimum. The specific items are at the discretion of the project executives, but the following events or items are traditional and should not be excluded without good reason:
Closing ceremonies - Sun 3 PM

Trans-Iowa Canal Company (TICC) Fri 8 PM
Wylde Nept - Fri 9 - 11:30 PM
Round Robin Story Telling - Sat 10 followed by Erotic Sci-Fi story telling - 11 PM
Game show
Video and/or Anime room (dropped lack of interest)
“How to Enjoy Your First Con” Fri 9 PM
“Whose Con is it Anyway?”
Art in about an Hour (resulting to charity auction) - Sat 11 AM
Masquerade Aid Station - before Masquerade
Chocolate Ceremony - Sat Midnight
Dance - dropped
Filking room - Fri, Sat 10 PM (or so)
Benefactor brunch - Sun 9 AM
Dead-dog party - Sun 7 PM after people helping with locker run are back from Iowa City
