**Venue Liaison**

At least 1-2 year(s) in advance
Needs to work with CONCOM for location of convention, gets venue's preliminary contract, confirm with CONCOM and Mindbridge venue contract. Needs Mindbridge and ICONConCom to vote for contract\\
Acts as a liaison between the Venue and CONCOM for staff requests.\\
Works with venues to get bids for upcoming convention space.\\

8 months - convention Date\\
Makes sure that a Venue Resume is submitted with room layouts and requests (water stations trash cans).\\
Follows through with current contract and updates CONCOM of any venue policy changes and current venue renovations.\\
Get venue/hotel room reservation codes for room rates for social media\\
Push hotel room bookings\\

3 months prior to convention date\\
Works with logistics and rental businesses if extra tables/chairs or other items are required\\
Works with Venue catering if necessary\\
Responsible for coordaining with venue, room block and Room Party liaison\\
Coordinates with Programing and venue with room requirements\\
Push hotel room bookings\\

At convention\\
Be available at con to work with con volunteers and hotel for setup and tear downs\\
be available at con for any surprises\\

Within a month after convention\\
Reviews final Venue bill before sending off to Treasury.\\
