  • About Us

Welcome to the homepage for Mindbridge Foundation! We are a not-for-profit corporation organized to provide a resource group for those interested in Science Fiction, Fantasy, and related areas. We are located in the Iowa City area and devote most of our attention to Eastern Iowa, but we will help out whenever and wherever we can.

    Our Mission

Our goal is to provide resources to people interested in Science Fiction and related areas. Here are the sorts of things we can provide now:

    • central communication for fans
    • local Science Fiction/Fantasy and Gaming conventions
    • volunteer support for SF/F related events
    • convention registration and accounting services
    • author signings (as available)

And what we hope to provide in the future:

    • member discounts at local stores and theaters
    • book fairs
    • web hosting

Our group is diverse in its interests and can provide information on many of the following:

    • Science Fiction and Fantasy novels, movies, and TV shows
    • British SF TV
    • Magazines
    • Art
    • Gaming (role playing, board, card, video)
    • Computer stuff
    • Convention running
  • Our Conventions
