Spock’s Wife Joining Us

Arlene Martel

Folks --

As you may or may not know by now, this year's ICON is to be honored by the presence of Arlene Martel, the actress who graced the TV screen back in the 60's as Spock's wife, T'Pring, in the original Star Trek episode "Amok Time."
However, many of you may not be aware of how truly talented this character actress is -- having played diverse roles in such classic programs as The Outer Limits, Twilight Zone, Bewitched, I Dream of Jeannie, Hogan's Heros, Columbo . . . the list is virtually endless. She has also been on the big screen any number of times, and continues to act, write and direct to this day. She is currently in the process of obtaining funding for a project that she may well be directing for Maximillian Schell -- "Whisper Into My Good Ear." I think I can safely say we'll all be anxious to see how this turns out.
She has kindly consented to answering a few impertinent questions about her life, career and general thoughts, and I'll be enclosing these as time permits. Check back often, and if you have any questions you'd like to pose to this funny, intelligent, talented lady, please let me know.

Talk to all soon

Gino
