The Clarion Hotel has been selected as the official hotel for ICON 30. We expect to sign the final paperwork soonish. This is the same hotel as was used last year. For room reservations, call (319) 366-8671, and be sure to ask for the ICON block. The room rate is $89.00, plus 5% sales tax and 7% city tax for 1-4 people in a room. This rate does not apply towards suites.

The cut off date for the ICON 30 room block is September 28, 2005. So please register for a room before this date.

We need to make sure we fill the place up again. To remind of you the good things we get with this hotel:

• A staff that isn't going anywhere (the hotel has been family owned and operated since 1976)
• Many restaurants are located within a few blocks (ranging from gourmet to fast food)
• 24 hour pool access
• Lots of parking
• A staff that understands that the conventions make noise
• Free airport shuttle, just find the direct-line phone by the rental counters and they will come pick you up!
