Minutes for February 3rd Mindbridge Meeting

1. Call to Order
2. Minutes from January Meeting were not read, but have been posted on the Mindbridge list and web site.
3. Treasurer’s Report was read.
4. Gamicon Report
   1. February 12th – 14th
   2. Everyone very excited
   3. Will be in Main Lounge of Memorial Union

5. AnimeIowa Report
   1. Staff Meeting Saturday February 13th at 2:00 PM at the Coralville Convention Center.
6. Icon Report
   1. Everything on track.
7. Other Projects
   1. Preplanning Committee – nothing to report.
   2. Game Library – New stuff donated by game companies.
   3. Book Group - Book Group will be meeting at 6:00 pm on February 22th at Coffee Talk Café. They will be discussing The Moon is a Harsh Mistress by Robert Heinlein.
   4. Film Group will be meeting at 7:00 pm on February 26th at Bryon Stump’s home. They will be discussing Pinnochio and The Curse of Frankenstein.
8. Old Business
   1. Office Space Update – no update this meeting
   2. Charitable Donations – the following was approved:
      1. $2,000 for the Cedar Rapids Public Library
      2. $500 each for the Iowa City Public Library, the Coralville Public Library, the North Liberty Public Library, and Tanager Place.
9. New Business
   1. Jon Maakestad presented a bid for Gamicon 2011. This will be voted on at the March membership meeting.
